My Story

Hi, I’m Linda—owner and heart behind Ruff Ruff Ruff Meow / RenoPet Sitter.
I started my pet sitting business in 2007, and more than 19 years later, I still truly love what I do. Caring for pets isn’t just my job—it’s my passion.
I live in Caughlin Ranch with my family and our lovable Labrador Retriever, Farley. This neighborhood is home in every sense of the word. With miles of walking paths and scenic trails right outside our door, it’s the perfect place for pets (and people) who love the outdoors.

I moved to Reno in 1999 from the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, where I was raised. I’ve always appreciated experiencing all four seasons—fall being my favorite—and I value staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Exploring new places and hiking are some of my favorite ways to recharge. I also love sharing smiles and spreading joy, which is why Farley and I volunteer together as a therapy dog team with Paws 4 Love.

I take the responsibility of caring for your pets and your home very seriously. I understand how much your pets mean to you, and I know that trust is everything. To ensure the highest level of care, I am fully licensed with the City of Reno, insured, Fear Free Certified, and a proud member of Pet Sitters International. As a Fear Free Certified Pet Professional, I use proven techniques to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress—creating a calmer, more positive experience for your pets and greater peace of mind for you.
